A warm welcome to the Emerce 100
We have some rather pleasant news to share from the Netherlands. Hyvä has made its debut in the Emerce 100, entering the rankings directly at the number one spot for commercial eCommerce software.
While we try to keep our feet on the ground, seeing our name at the top of such a respected list with a maximum 6-star rating is a moment we want to share with our community.
What is the Emerce 100?
For those outside the Dutch ecosystem, Emerce is the leading publication for digital business and marketing in the Netherlands. Every year, they produce the Emerce 100, a comprehensive guide that ranks the best service providers and software in the country.
It is not a popularity contest or a paid-for entry. The ranking is built on independent research conducted by Motivaction. They survey decision-makers who actually use these tools and services every day, asking them to rate performance based on knowledge, value, and reliability.
6 stars for simplicity, strategic choices and execution excellence
Being ranked first with 6 stars is a significant nod to the path we chose. When we started Hyvä, we wanted to prove that Magento's frontend didn't need to be complex to be powerful. This ranking suggests that merchants and agencies are feeling the benefit of that simpler, performance-first approach.
Five years on, we made a couple of strategic choices in the type of products we shipped, the way we reward our agency partners, bring value to our tech partners and support the various stakeholders in the wider Magento ecosystem.
Everyday, each of our team members does their best to execute with empathy and high quality standards and it’s collectively that we are celebrating this number one ranking in the highly competitive eCommerce software category.
It is particularly rewarding because the Emerce 100 reflects the views of the people "in the trenches". Knowing that the Dutch eCommerce community—one of the most mature and demanding in the world—values what we’ve built gives us a lot of confidence for the future.

What’s next?
While we’re enjoying the moment, our focus hasn't changed. We’ll keep making Hyvä Commerce the best suite of products to boost merchants' revenue, minimize their development and maintenance costs, and make it easier for their teams to manage their Magento stores without needing developers.
We’ll keep working on delivering on the roadmap that our Community helps build and prioritise everyday through open and insightful feedback.
We also know that we’ll partner with a few more vendors from the list and who knows, we might also enter the list of Open Source eCommerce software since we made the big announcement end 2025?
