Menu Builder
Build Menus with the Power of Hyvä CMS

A powerful tool to allow the building of multiple types of menus with a mixture of content, such as category, product, page and other links, and rich content such as imagery, banners and more.

Powered by Hyvä CMS, Menu Builder editor provides the same incredible user experience along with the benefits of drafts, previews and publishing, templates/snippets, autosave, undo/redo and cut/paste tools, versioning and rollback, scheduling, import/export and multistore support.

Menu Builder allows you to assign any menu created using the menu builder as the main storefront navigation menu, footer, or other areas of your storefront, and to use the same or separate menus for desktop and mobile.

Create different styles of menus for different areas and purposes, such as content-rich 'mega menus' and mobile-friendly 'drill-down' menus.

Select a single category for inclusion within a menu and automatically output a list of all its children, with the ability to set the maximum depth.

Product & Category Attribute Support

Use the power of Hyvä CMS to manage content for category and product attributes.

All existing Hyvä CMS features, such as drafts and scheduling, are supported.

Unlike Page Builder, Hyvä CMS allows you to view and preview (in real time) all attributes on a product or category page at once.

Supports the default product and category description fields, plus any custom attribute using the 'Page Builder' input type.

In addition, content can be either automatically translated per scope or fully overridden for ultimate control.

Like Pages and Blocks, Hyvä CMS can easily be enabled/disabled per product or category, allowing you to control the pace of the rollout.

Templates are designed for larger content areas and can be selected as a starting point when creating a new page, block, or menu.

Snippets are for smaller areas of content (or code) you may want to reuse or revisit later.

Templates are available to all admin users, while Snippets can be private or shared.

Both Templates and Snippets can be edited and include the same CMS features, such as real-time preview and version history.

Image Resizing Declarations

Allows developers to provide a discrete range of image sizes to be created for specific areas of the storefront.

This provides even greater control over image sizes across the site, making it easier to even further reduce performance by always serving the right size images based on where images are output.

Resize/Convert via Queue

Allows for offloading the resizing and conversion of images to a queuing system.

For images yet to be converted/resized, the first request will return the original image(s) to the user to avoid delaying page load while images are generated.

The image(s) are then added to a queue system to be resized, which once complete will be used for future user requests.

Media Gallery Image Editor Integration

The Image Editor integration (powered by Filerobot) allows admin users to edit images directly from the admin panel without the need for external tools.

Utilise the image editor for images used within Hyvä CMS and on category pages.

Adjust images from the admin panel by altering their size, reframing, cropping, rotating and flipping.

Apply preset filters and finetune the complexion of images by altering brightness. contrast, hue, satuaration, blur and more.

Annotate images by overlaying text, shapes and additional imagery.

Edited images automatically have backups created of the original image that can be reverted at any time.

Edited images can replace an original to clean up and reduce disk space.

Images can also be duplicated to create alternate versions while still utilising the original.
