On 3 June 2025, we went live on YouTube for our latest Hyvä Townhall. It was our biggest one yet, and not just because we had more speakers, more demos, and more features to show off (though we definitely did). This Townhall marked a major milestone for the Hyvä ecosystem, and we couldn't wait to share it with you.

Our evolving product suite for merchants took centre stage, with demos and updates covering:

• The new Admin Theme - a modern UI with improved colours, icons, and flexibility
• Admin Dashboard - fully customisable widgets, drag-and-drop layout, and a developer API
• Hyvä CMS - real-time editing with LiveView, content scheduling, translations, templates, and more
• Media Optimisation - auto-optimised images in AVIF and WebP with support for retina and multiple engines
• Image Editor - crop, annotate, filter and resize images directly in the Magento admin

Each feature is designed to reduce friction for merchant teams, save time, and deliver fast, beautiful storefronts. All while keeping Magento's extensibility.

Theme, Checkout, and UI: Still Getting Better

We haven't forgotten the foundations. We gave a quick roundup of recent enhancements to:

• Hyvä Theme - Core Web Vitals improvements, new components, and Tailwind v4 support coming
• Hyvä Checkout - a refreshed design with better accessibility and autosaving
• Hyvä UI - the latest release adds support for Content Security Policy (CSP), new AlpineJS plugins, and more reusable components

Introducing: The Hyvä Certification Program

Yes, it’s finally here. Watch the official Hyvä Certification Program launch section.

After years of requests, we launched the Hyvä Certification Program, starting with the Associate Developer Exam.

Why this matters:

• It recognises real-world Hyvä knowledge
• It helps developers prove their skills and stand out
• It supports hiring and talent development
• It raises the bar for project quality across the ecosystem

We also shared details about the exam content, what to expect, and how to start preparing with the Study Guide. More certifications are planned for the future, including expert level and solution specialist.

We closed out with a look at what's coming next across all Hyvä products. That includes:
